About the Studio

Alleshouse Family Studio is a husband-and-wife team based in San Antonio, Texas, driven by a shared passion to create. We make one-of-a-kind wooden pieces, from turned vessels and smaller functional objects to furniture and fully custom commissions.

Wood With a History

We are always looking for interesting material, especially wood that might otherwise be lost. Fallen trees, storm-damaged wood, and discarded timber often find their way into the studio and become part of something new.

Made Together

Much of the work in the studio is collaborative. Ideas move back and forth, designs evolve, and each of us brings a different perspective to the process. That shared act of creating is a large part of why the studio exists.

Why We Make It

A useful object does not have to be ordinary. We are drawn to work that combines function with form and gives the material a purpose beyond the shop.
