This one-of-a-kind bird's mouth bowl is handcrafted from cedar elm, featuring a distinctive flared opening with a bark-retained live edge. The irregular rim creates an elegant, sculptural silhouette that contrasts with the smooth, rounded body. Warm golden tones and subtle grain patterns complement the natural bark, while the gently curved exterior gives the piece a balanced, organic appearance.
Finished with Waterlox to enhance the cedar elm's natural color and provide a durable, protective surface, this bowl works beautifully as a decorative vessel, a display for small keepsakes, or a standalone piece of functional art. Its unusual form makes it particularly well suited for display on a shelf, mantel, or tabletop. This piece includes a Certificate of Authenticity from Alleshouse Family Studio.
