This one-of-a-kind oblong bowl is handcrafted from cedar elm, with a bark-retained live edge that preserves the natural outline of the tree. The elongated form follows the grain particularly well, drawing attention toward the natural inclusion running through the center and giving the otherwise simple bowl some additional character.
Finished with Waterlox to enhance the warm golden tones of the cedar elm while providing a durable surface, this bowl works well for serving, displaying fruit or other dry goods, or simply as a decorative accent. This piece includes a Certificate of Authenticity from Alleshouse Family Studio.
