This one-of-a-kind extra-large oblong bowl is handcrafted from cedar elm and showcases the impressive scale and natural character of the tree. The bark-retained live edge follows the original contour of the log, rising dramatically at each end and giving the bowl its sweeping, organic profile. At more than 18 inches across, this is a substantial statement piece with a broad interior and beautifully understated cedar elm grain.
Finished with Waterlox to enhance the wood's warm natural tones while providing a durable surface, its generous proportions make it particularly well suited as a large centerpiece or serving bowl. This piece includes a Certificate of Authenticity from Alleshouse Family Studio.
